Maybe the original goal was to bring it to PC, and often it’s easier to remake it to do that, so if they’re remaking it to allow them to bring it over to PC more easily, why would they gate keep that improved version from everyone on PlayStation? Following Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception, it is the final Uncharted game to feature the latest beta release of PCSX4 PS4. It’s a shame to see so many complain about games going to PC though, literally why do you care? It just allows more people to enjoy the game and pump more money into the development studios who have made it, for them to spend making your next favourite future game. I’ve since recently bought the Unchartered Collection (1, 2 & 3 I believe) so nice to see they’re remastering 4 ready for when I’ll pick it up. I specifically bought the PS5 for Spider-Man + Miles Morales, however have enjoyed playing some Ratchet & Clank I haven’t got to enjoy since being younger, played through TLOU 1 + 2. Still primarily a PC gamer and probably will be, I prefer the control choices and the increased flexibility in hardware customisation (Ultrawide, High Resolution, High Refresh Rate).
